Flatbook

I finished up my flat book with new storyboards made from the thumbnails I hit up with watercolor. It should be done at 4am. So we'll see how that goes. 

Over all I would say that with this project I seemed to take one step forward and two steps back. Even now I would like to load my boards but I can't figure out how to include a PDF file. Beyond that, I bought the Toon Boom bundle with the storyboard program connected and it turns out the bundle has "Storyboard 1.5" instead of "Storyboard Pro." Any guesses as to how they differ? I'll tell you. Storyboard Pro allows you to create a storyboard animatic and export your boards as a PDF, while Storyboard 1.5 only allows you to create the PDF file; it can't even be saved as some sort of Toon Boom file. So basically I bought a useless program. Considering I want one that actually makes animatics. Foolish me I suppose.

Here are the same thumbnails with watercolor to help with lighting and mood. I keep trying to bring myself to do full on storyboards but the fear of doing poorly just cripples me. We'll see what I can do in the next day...
